And there goes July...

With a rainy July almost over, I feel melancholy setting in. Can't believe there's only one month of summer left until September arrives. And since it rained a lot, as it did for the past five to six weeks, I decided it would be a good idea to clean up the mess in my craft room. I made lots of progress in a matter of days, and I can't help myself but walking into the room and just looking at the neatness re-appear. Here's an impression, and yes, I know I should have taken 'before' pics, but I forgot.

This chest needs a new set of handles, but I've put it to use already to store all my fabric.

We had two hours of sun though and these hours were spent having lunch on my favourite picnic blanket which hadn't been used before...

Waking up to this has put a smile on my face on most days. Letting my kids stay when they sneak up to the 'big' bed as they call it in the middle of the night without putting them back in their own beds is not on top on my parenting skills, but I don't care.

For some reason I was fascinated by skies and clouds. Fairytale-like at times...

'And the bristles of my brushes spin you into my curls today'. I discovered Lisa Hannigan by watching the Irish movie Ondine.

My sister made merengues topped with rose creamcheese. They were as delicious as they look!

Taken today. Maybe I should eat lots of fresh fries, chocolate and pancakes tomorrow! I'm off to watch one of my favourite British series Bottom. G'night!
