July has arrived way too soon

It's July...can you believe it? JULY already!!! Times flies by sometimes. And so it did on certain days the past week. Sometimes that was nice, sometimes it was rather unpleasant...July is for enjoying summer with the ones you love most, for trying different flavours of icecream, for wearing flipflops and drinking icetea, for chipped nailpolish and heavy thunderstorms, for going to sleep way too late so you can watch the sun rise again, and for long walks by the sea until the sun sets.


July stared of with some craftiness. I made a layout....

...and this stuffed animal. Mister Donkey is now housed on my bedside table and he seems to be okay there next to Artis de Partis and my night lamp that never goes out.

Where I work there is this shop that sells delicious homemade icecream. I tried two new flavours this time: straciatella and lemon. Very, very nice indeed, but I do prefer something chocolaty or sweet. It was good to try something different though...

We had a few warmer days so we played out in the garden. My sons likes to blow bubbles, but it never lasts long, because when he bends over to catch the bubbles, he automatically empties his bottle with soap water.

Of course I took some Instagrams. This new phone has become my friend.

The warmth was followed by thunderstorms and boy, they were pretty.

This made me smile.

And so did this pretty feather.

Old cars are so much nicer than new ones.

Lavender and roses. Now this is Summer!

My sister and I went to the movies again last night. We looked utterly stupid with these 3d-glasses, but the movie was great! It's nothing like Amelie, but I like these kind of movies too. Lots of special effects, totally over the top and a story that has no deeper meaning at all. But hey, it makes great entertainment for a Saturday night! We had great fun!
