Instagram I {heart} you

Summer still hasn't shown herself, but I'm still looking. Words don't seem to come easily today, so instead of me rambling, here are some photos of the last 4 days...

Starting off with Wednesday afternoon. Planes high up in the clouded sky taking people to wherever places they need to be and pretty flowers in the backyard.

I like it when people do stuff out of the ordinairy. Someone thought it was funny(and it was funny!) to leave rubber ducks in the fountain in the middle of our town square. I remember stepping on those big black circles in the water when I was a little girl and usually ending up with wet feet. Must have been 25 years ago...

These lovebirds have been coming and going to this lantern post for weeks and finally I was able to snap a shot. Wednesday was good!

...Thursday came without pics...

I couldn't quite wake up on Friday and this coffee with a high dose of caffeine didn't even do the trick. It tasted good though.

And since I couldn't wake up, I went to bed early to watch tv and do some reading. The rain kept falling on my bedroom window and the wind made it sound like Fall already.

Saturday was spent shopping for a missing part for my secondhand sewing machine. I found it!!! The gay shop owner really knew a lot about sewing machines and he helped me out perfectly. These photos were taken in the parking garage. There were all these different coloured glass squares that looked so nice together. It must look even prettier on a sunny day.

Instadaily is one of the apps on my Iphone that I really really enjoy. Every other day there's a prompt and you can vote for the photos you like. These photos were taken for the prompt 'an Eye'. I'm not even that bad at participating: I'm now in 161th place from over more than 4500. The best thing about Instadaily is that it forces you to look differently at the world around you because of the prompts you're getting. And it's awesome to see what other Instagrammers make! It's one of the best online communities yet!

Birds in flight are stunning. Always perfect and flying like there's no tomorrow.

Self portrait made about an hour ago, wearing my pink swallow scarf tied around my wrist. That scarf is becoming my second favourite!
